The Steelers Have Officially Brought Back Famous Heinz Ketchup Bottle To Acrisure Stadium For 2023
Michael Longo/For USA Today Network / USA TODAY NETWORK

It upset fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers everywhere when the organization granted stadium naming rights to Michigan financial company, Acrisure. The storied Heinz Field name would no longer be where people from all over the world went to catch a game of the six-time Super Bowl Champions. It's still hard to not call the stadium its original name, but the changes made inside were just as sad. The two ginormous Heinz ketchup bottles at the open end zone would be taken down and no longer dump ketchup into the main scoreboard.

Steelers Have Officially Brought Back A Key Piece Of Heinz Field History

Art Rooney II recently told reporter, Jenna Harner that the plan was to bring back at least one of the famous ketchup bottles back to the stadium the Steelers call home. It appears as of Tuesday, that promise has been kept and one bottle has returned according to WPXI's Lauren Talotta.

It is certainly refreshing to see one of the bottles return as they are a huge part of the stadium's history. It will hang above Gate C at Acrisure Stadium and the organization's partnership with Heinz has officially continued which will please millions of fans all over. It will bring back a whole lot of nostalgia.

Talotta uploaded a video of the giant bottle being lifted into the Pittsburgh air as a day of work should get it to its' new home.

There is no doubt that this will be an awesome sight to see for Steelers fans every Sunday. There hasn't been a definitive span of time announced for how long the one ketchup bottle will be there, but if the relationship with Heinz remains intact, fans can expect it to be there for more than just the 2023 season.

Are you happy to see at least one of the famous ketchup bottles back at the stadium?
